The cure for a broken heart -- both literally and metaphorically -- is to create, to make art. I sat on my front step for five minutes with my camera on manual mode and I watched the light. I walked around a little, took a few shots, and then came back inside. I hope I never grow tired of the sun shining through the grapevine and the ferns; I hope I'm always in love with the sun glinting off spiderwebs and little birds hopping around just out of focus.
