I already posted a sneak peek of Saturday's shoot but Rachel had to up the ante and post a sneak peek over on her personal blog too.
For those of you who are new or don't remember or just like hearing the same stories again and again, Rachel was sweet enough to have a Mother's Day contest. I won and this Saturday, we drove out to Naples to have an amazing time with Rachel. And with the exception of one awkward moment I am hoping she has no photographic record of, everything went swimmingly. Rachel even managed to get real photos of my mother.
I, of course, did not.
However, I did get pictures of my boys doing what they do best.
You'll see Ryan's trimmed face when Rachel's real blog post goes up. I wouldn't want to ruin the surprise.
Meanwhile, I dorked it up hardcore.
As we were leaving, I made mom pull over by this sign. It's a tradition to pose with signs in state parks.
But I'm totally getting ahead of myself.
Aside from the excitement of finally meeting Rachel (can you tell I was excited?), I also got to introduce Doug to gopher tortoises and the fun that is watching people kite surf.
And of course, there were both MySpace-style and mom-taken photos of Rachel and I.
This Saturday was just the beginning of a fun-filled weekend...
